Check out this news from National Products Insider! Quality Assurance International (QAI) is partnering with the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness to offer gluten-free certification for products.
In order to receive certification the products will have to go through a testing procedure, an auditing process, and an independent application review process.
The "Certified Gluten-Free" label was officially unveiled at grocery stores this past weekend.
Also available for certification programs are the Gluten Intolerance Group program and the Celiac Sprue Association program.
