Here is a great story from the Washington Post on the Food and Drug Administration's continuing failure to produce strict guidelines for food labeling in America.
Even after 7 years of waiting and deadlines that have come and gone, the FDA still can't get it together to give companies really serious guides for labeling their products as gluten-free. For the 1 in 133 Americans with Celiac Disease of a gluten-intolerance this is absolutely unacceptable.
