A new study from researchers at the University of California San Francisco finds that kids with celiac disease who attend a gluten-free camp experience an improvement in their overall quality of life.
The research team evaluated 77 campers who participated in a week-long suumer camp for kids with celiac disease in order to determine if the experience improved their overall quality of life. they evaluated the kids well being, self-perception and emotional outlook through a survey. At the end of the camp, the researchers saw improvement in every area.
